Abstract

The article discusses the genre of the ode, which developed in Western literature during the Classical and Renaissance periods, and its stages of evolution. It includes reflections on the distinctive features of odes created during these eras, as well as analyses of the odes written by poets of the Classical and Renaissance periods.
