In general, This article delves into the fascinating phenomenon of verbification in language. It explores how words traditionally classified as nouns, adjectives, or adverbs can be creatively repurposed to function as verbs. Employing a comparative approach, the article analyzes how verbification operates in both English and Uzbek. Through a close examination of concrete examples from each language, it aims to shed light on the underlying mechanisms and patterns of verbification. By identifying similarities and divergences in how these languages utilize verbification, the article seeks to contribute to a deeper understanding of how languages evolve and adapt. Furthermore, the findings may offer valuable insights into the dynamic relationship between word formation processes and grammatical categories within each language. Ultimately, this comparative analysis of verbification in English and Uzbek can enrich our appreciation for the diverse ways languages express meaning and navigate the ever-evolving landscape of communication.
