Abstract

This article explores the scientific foundations and theoretical perspectives underlying integrated language teaching. It examines key linguistic, pedagogical, and cognitive theories that support the integration of language skills in the teaching and learning process. The study highlights the importance of a holistic approach to language education, emphasizing the interconnection of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills within communicative contexts. Furthermore, the article discusses how integrated language teaching enhances communicative competence, promotes effective language acquisition, and reflects contemporary trends in language pedagogy and applied linguistics.
