Keywords:

This article investigates the derivational-semantic organization and wordformation models of innovative economic speech units in contemporary English and Uzbek economic discourse. The study focuses on lexical innovations associated with digital finance, platform-based business, crypto-assets, green finance, regulatory technology and new forms of entrepreneurship. The analysis combines descriptive, contrastive, morphemic, derivational, componential and contextual-semantic methods. The findings show that English economic innovation is strongly characterized by compounding, blending, clipping, acronymy and productive affixation, whereas Uzbek frequently realizes new economic concepts through borrowing, phonographic adaptation, hybrid formation, calquing, analytic combinations and derivational integration by Uzbek grammatical and word-forming resources.
