Abstract

this article explores effective methods for cultivating independent thinking skills in primary school students, essential for fostering creativity, problem-solving abilities, and a love for learning. It discusses various pedagogical approaches, including inquiry-based learning, project-based learning, and the use of mind mapping. The importance of self-directed learning, critical thinking exercises, and creative expression is emphasized, along with strategies for teaching metacognition. Additionally, the article highlights the significance of creating a supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and resilience. By implementing these strategies, educators can empower students to take ownership of their learning and develop the critical skills necessary for success in their academic and personal lives
