ENHANCING SPEAKING FLUENCY THROUGH TASK-BASED INTERACTIVE ACTIVITIES IN EFL CONTEXT

This article examines the role of task-based interactive activities in developing speaking fluency in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classrooms. Particular attention is given to communicative tasks such as role-plays, pair work, group discussions and information-gap activities which stimulate meaningful interaction between learners. The paper discusses theoretical foundations of task-based language teaching and highlights how interactive communication increases learners’ confidence, participation and speech production
