Abstract

Laser technology has become an indispensable tool in modern medical biophysics due to its precision, controllability, and non-invasive nature. This paper explores the fundamental principles and diverse applications of lasers in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Key areas include laser-tissue interaction, photothermal and photochemical effects, and the use of specific laser wavelengths for targeted treatments. Clinical applications such as laser surgery, photodynamic therapy, laser-based imaging, and tissue ablation are discussed in the context of their biophysical mechanisms. Additionally, advancements in lowlevel laser therapy (LLLT) and its effects on cellular metabolism and tissue regeneration are reviewed. The integration of laser systems with modern diagnostic tools, such as confocal microscopy and optical coherence tomography, further illustrates their critical role in advancing personalized and minimally invasive medicine. This study highlights both the benefits and limitations of current laser technologies and outlines future directions for research and innovation in medical biophysics
